Terms of Service
Draft last updated September 29, 2026. This document has not yet been reviewed by an attorney - see the note at the end.
EasyInspX LLC, a Kansas limited liability company ("EasyInspX," "we," "us"), provides software that helps professional home inspectors schedule inspections, generate reports, collect client agreements, and manage their business. These Terms govern use of the EasyInspX mobile app, web portal, booking pages, and marketing site (together, the "Service") by inspectors ("you," when you hold an account) and by their clients interacting with a shared report, booking, or signing link. By creating an account, booking an inspection through the Service, or signing a document through the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What EasyInspX is - and isn't
EasyInspX is a software platform. We are not a home inspection company, we do not perform inspections, and we do not review, verify, or endorse the content of any inspection report generated through the Service. Each inspector using EasyInspX is an independent professional or business, solely responsible for holding any license, certification, or insurance required in their jurisdiction, for the accuracy and completeness of their own reports, and for their own conduct with clients.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including anyone you give access to your login. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Access to the Service is offered on a subscription basis, billed and managed through RevenueCat via either the Apple App Store, Google Play, or web card payment, depending on how you signed up. Your subscription renews automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout until you cancel. Cancellation is handled through whichever platform you subscribed with (App Store, Play Store, or your account settings for web billing) and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't provide partial-period refunds except where required by law or by that platform's own refund policy.
4. Payments between you and your clients
EasyInspX uses Stripe Connect to let you accept payments (such as inspection fees or deposits) directly from your own clients. In that transaction, you are the seller and merchant of record, not EasyInspX - we facilitate the payment technically but are not a party to your agreement with your client, and any platform fee applicable to a facilitated payment is disclosed to you at the time you set it up. Disputes about the price, quality, or delivery of an inspection are between you and your client.
5. Booking
If you enable public booking, prospective clients can request or schedule an inspection through a page you control. The resulting appointment and any service agreement is between you and that client - we simply relay the request and confirmation.
6. Your content, and the Community Issue Library
You retain ownership of the reports, photos, notes, and other content you create through the Service. You grant EasyInspX the rights necessary to store, process, transmit, and display that content in order to operate the Service - for example, to generate a report PDF, share a report link with your client, or sync your data across your devices.
One specific case worth calling out directly: when you write your own custom "Needs Attention" or "Not Inspected" finding (as opposed to picking one of the built-in options), the wording is automatically queued for our review in the background - there's no submit button and nothing for you to do. If we approve it, the wording (the finding's label and description text, and which type of element it's associated with - never your identity, your account, or any specific client, property, or photo) is added to a shared library available to every inspector on the platform, the same way our own built-in library entries are. Approval is manual; we don't add anything to the shared library automatically. You can delete your own copy of a custom finding at any time from your account, which removes it from your personal list, but it doesn't retract a review already in progress or remove an entry that's already been approved into the shared library, since by that point it's a normal library entry no longer tied back to you. See our Privacy Policy for more on how this works.
7. AI-assisted features
Some features use AI to help you draft faster - for example, suggesting note text from a photo you take, summarizing a finding, or suggesting agreement fields. These suggestions are generated by third-party AI models based on the photo or text you submit, are a drafting aid only, and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming anything AI-suggested before it appears in a final report or agreement. We don't warrant the accuracy of AI-generated content.
8. Acceptable use
- Don't use the Service for anything illegal, or in a way that violates applicable home-inspection licensing or consumer-protection law.
- Don't misrepresent your credentials, impersonate someone else, or submit a report you didn't actually perform the inspection for.
- Don't attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service, or access another inspector's account or data without authorization.
- Don't upload content that infringes someone else's rights or that you don't have the right to share.
9. Report accuracy - the important disclaimer
An inspection report generated through EasyInspX reflects the professional opinion of the individual inspector who performed it, based on a visual, non-invasive inspection at a single point in time. It is not a guarantee, warranty, or certification of any kind about the condition of the property, and it is not a substitute for specialized inspections (structural, environmental, pest, etc.) where warranted. EasyInspX does not perform inspections, does not review report content, and disclaims all liability for the accuracy, completeness, or consequences of relying on any report generated through the Service. Any dispute about a report's accuracy is between the client and the inspector who prepared it.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EasyInspX won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in subscription fees in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. If your account is terminated or deleted, your data is removed per our Privacy Policy - an already-approved Community Issue Library entry isn't affected, since by then it's a standalone library entry no longer linked to your account.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
15. Contact

Status: this is a working draft covering EasyInspX's actual current features, not generic template text - the entity name and governing law above are now real (EasyInspX LLC, filed with the Kansas Secretary of State), but it still has not been reviewed by an attorney. Have it reviewed before relying on it for real customers, particularly sections 9-11 (the liability disclaimer and limitation-of-liability language), which carry the most legal weight for a platform used by a licensed profession.
